Rosa Krieger

BIOGRAPHY:

Hello, I am Rosa Krieger (born 1995 in Bergisch Gladbach) and I am an artist, art educator and designer based in Cologne.

My work moves between analogue image-making, objects and prints. A central aspect of my practice lies in exploring the intersection between the tactile world and digital processes, a theme that is particularly evident in my collages, which merge photographic fragments, found materials, and graphic composition.

Since 2019, I have been focusing intensively on risography, a printing technique known for its vibrant colours, layered textures, and experimental nature. My visual worlds often feel surreal, nostalgic and dreamlike, transforming everyday observations into poetic, colourful compositions.

I graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig in 2023. Alongside my artistic practice, I work in art education, developing and facilitating workshops for children and young people in educational and independent settings.
